- We collect only what we need to reply to you and to run your account.

1. Who this covers
GoSmart Infra Limited, Accra, Ghana (“we” or “us”) runs Ahohou. This policy explains how we handle personal information about:
- visitors to ahohou.com, and people who ask for a demo or to join the pilot;
- our customers and their staff who use the Ahohou app.
If you are a guest at a property that uses Ahohou, that property decides how your information is used, and Ahohou acts on its behalf. Please read our guest privacy notice.
2. What we collect, why, and for how long

We do not collect anything else about you, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell personal information.
3. Cookies and similar storage
- The Ahohou website sets no cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- If you choose a currency on the pricing page, your browser keeps that choice in its local storage so that the page remembers it next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.
- When you send the contact form, it goes through our form service, formsubmit.co. We do not control any cookies that service may set on its own pages. Please see its privacy policy.
- The pilot app (which has a separate address) stores only what it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your device. This is strictly necessary for the app to work.
Because our website uses no cookies that need your consent, it shows no cookie banner. If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with companies that help us run Ahohou, and only as far as they need it:
- Google Cloud and Firebase, which host the website, the app and our database. Our data is stored in London (europe-west2);
- formsubmit.co, which passes contact-form messages to our inbox;
- our email provider, when we correspond with you;
- authorities, when the law requires us to.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Transfers between countries
You may contact us from anywhere in the world, so your information may be handled in a country other than your own. Our providers apply recognised safeguards when they do this.
6. How we protect information
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited by role. You can read more on our security page.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you;
- correct it, or delete it;
- limit how we use it, or stop using it for something you object to;
- give you a copy you can move elsewhere; and
- stop using it where you gave your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Email admin@ahohou.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority, such as the Data Protection Commission in Ghana or the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
8. Children
Ahohou is a business service and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version with its date. If the change is important, we will also tell you by email.
